BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF JOHN CHAN - G.MANAGER OF GOLDEN RESOURCES

John Chan, male, born in 1967 in a small village of Jiangsu province,

had his education in China specialized in International Business,

English Language and Economics, he was awarded a Master degree of

Economics by Nanjing University.   Mr. Chan started his career in a

state-owned international trading corporation on Metals & Minerals in 1986.

During the initial 12 years work in the international trade business, he had

been working with different departments of the company, from documentation,

transportation, exporting business to overseas representative office, he

was appointed vice manager of the Mineral Department of the company at the

age of 25, with practice of export of Cement at that time.  Mr. Chan

has experiences in bulk freight and international chartering. 

In 1998 he was assigned to the management position in a foreign-owned

enterprise and was serving there for three years. Mr.Chan established his

own mineral products processing plant in the year 2000 with the company

privately owned by himself - Golden Resources Industry and Investment Co.Ltd.

Fifteen years experience in the international business of industrial

mineral products, Mr. Chan realized that the best and the only way for China

Mineral enterprises to occupy the international market is to revitalize the

country's industry association. Keeping this in mind, Mr. Chan sponsored China

Non-metallic Minerals Industry Association, acting as the director of the

association¡¯s Shanghai international office, and the association¡¯s

executive director and deputy general secretary.

Mr. Chan is also responsible for the edition of the association¡¯s web site,

he created a precedent in China non-metallic minerals industry organization

by using both Chinese and English on the web( It doesn¡¯t include import

and export companies).

During the recent years, Mr. Chan has been busy making hurried journeys

without stop to the major markets all over the world (from his own pocket),

searching opportunities to develop new market for china non-metallic mineral

products, he seems never to get bored with what he did and what he is doing,

instead, he really enjoys making every effort to market China non-metallic

mineral products. Also his company Golden Resources offer service to foreign

companies helping them make their activities in China to progress much more

easily.

There is more than that, Mr.Chan has established a charity fund by contributing

not-small amount every year to sponsor the elderly of no family and students

in poverty(in China), he also provides long term financial assistance to several

orphans.He always encourages the students in poverty to study hard because he

believes education is the only way to help them get rid of poverty. His motto to

the students is :

Education improves people¡¯s quality, Knowledge changes fate, Language

alters the environment.

Only Knowledge can change the fate. Knowledge is the strength.
