It's been said that successful people tend to reach decisions quickly
and change their mindvery slowly, as opposed to reaching decisions slowly,
but changing quickly.
Impulsiveness is not always bad. Opportunity must be seized before
it runs away. A penny saved is a penny earned, but there's also such a
thing as being a penny wise, but a pound foolish.
A thing is seldom as first imagined. Experience is the best teacher,
because it deals in reality, rather than imagination. Book smart must
still come to terms with real life. Imagine driving a car all you want
to, but until you get behind the wheel and drive it, not much has really
been learned. Get in there and do it. Then you'll know.
Becoming effective is a process of self-correction. Some things
work. Some don't. Experiencing the environment is an opportunity to adapt.
Difficulty is an opportunity to overcome.
Bad things happen to good people all the time. Good intentions offer
long-term insulation, but do not prevent short-term adversities. At first,
we veer back and forth, searching for a steady path, a steady progress.
As we gain experience, we negotiate that path with increased agility.
The solving of one problem generally leads to another problem. But, as
each problem is solved, the progress reaches further.
Mistakes both hurt and help. They hurt because they bring an undesirable
result. They help because they narrow the field of choices. The process
of learning is dotted with mistakes, large and small. Learning from these
mistakes causes behavioral change. It is that change that produces results
that are different than they were. Success can replace failure in this
way.
Adapt and overcome. Know what it is you want and get in there and
get it. Embrace the learning process. You can do so much more than you
give yourself credit for.Achievement is not locked up in a degree somewhere,
friends, but there's boldness within you, if you'll only believe
in it and make the journey to bring it out.
Words make sales. Impressions make sales. Drive makes sales. Everyone
wants the income, but the tools for getting that income are self-evident.
Use communication tools to produce income. A website is such a tool, email
marketing, ezine and ebook publishing... Get heard. Know where you
are going and get heard. Then add to your initiative drive. It's only
called stubborness during the struggle. Afterward, they'll praise you
for your foresight and determination!
Adapt and overcome. Where there's a will, there's a way. You can
do it. I know you can.
